Datuk Dr Shaiful Azmi Yahaya
Datuk Dr Shaiful Azmi bin Yahaya is the Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Chief Clinical Officer at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN).
He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UKM in 1994 and completed his Master’s in Internal Medicine in 2001 before pursuing further training at the Texas Heart Institute, Houston in the USA.
Since joining IJN in 2004, he has established himself as a leader in interventional cardiology, with expertise in complex coronary interventions, peripheral artery disease, aortic aneurysm repair, and TAVI.
He is a Fellow of the ASEAN College of Cardiology, Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology, National Heart Association of Malaysia, and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention.
Dr Mehrunishah Begum
Dr Mehrunishah Begum is a senior academic with over 20 years of diverse professional experience in academia, consultancy, and research.
She currently serves as the Programme Director for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration in Healthcare Management at IMU University.
Her expertise spans entrepreneurship, human resource management, sustainable leadership, and organisational behaviour.
As a certified Professional in Human Resources – International (PHRi™) and TTT-exempted trainer, Dr Mehrunishah is passionate about fostering innovation, sustainability, and inclusive leadership in education and healthcare management.
